Ms Harrison has been a high-level professional executive excelling in the non- profit world building high performing organizations, and demonstrating successful leadership in youth and family programming; marketing; relationship and resource management; and volunteer/staff development. Ms. Laura Harrison is a Masters Graduate from the University of Montana, Missoula, MT, and a Bachelors Graduate from the University of Missouri, Columbia, MO. She holds a Masters in Public Administration and has maintained a Clinical Social Worker License since 1992.
For fifteen years, Laura was the Executive Vice President of a nonprofit children, youth and family services agency in Missouri. Achievements included implementing and maintaining Council of Accreditation and HIPAA standards; developing programs and funding sources to grow the agency into a comprehensive Head Start Replacement grant to serve 3000 children; renovating and designing 12 major service sites; and developing and maintaining children, youth, and family services to include shelters, counseling, jobs programs, and other support services. |
