YEA Recruiting schools for 2008-2009 School Year

Youth Empowerment in Action is looking for schools across the Missouri-state region to participate in their Youth Tobacco Education, Advocacy and Media Program for the 2008-2009 school year. The students involved in the YEA TEAM program learn ways that they can become active citizens in their community by participating in civic engagement through a curriculum known as Project Citizen. Students also learn about the media and how it influences decision-making, and are then given an opportunity to produce their own media and voice their opinion about tobacco.
